Who Owns Lemme? Kourtney Kardashian, Her Co-Founders and Their Investors

Lemme is owned by its founders and a small group of venture investors. Kourtney Kardashian Barker co-founded the supplement brand with publicist Simon Huck and investor Nir Liberboim, and growth funds Coefficient Capital and Wittington Ventures hold minority stakes.
The company, Lemme Inc., is private. Nobody has published how its shares are split, so any “Kourtney owns X%” figure you see online is a guess.
Here’s what’s on the record, what’s estimated, and the ownership myths worth clearing up.
Key takeaways
Who owns Lemme? The owners, one by one
Lemme has three named co-founders and at least two confirmed institutional backers. The table below separates what each one does from what’s actually been disclosed about their stake.
| Owner | Role | Stake disclosed? |
|---|---|---|
| Kourtney Kardashian Barker | Founder and public face; filed the Lemme trademark in 2021 and works on product and creative | No |
| Simon Huck | Co-founder; runs much of the operating and marketing side. Also owns PR firm Command Entertainment Group | No |
| Nir Liberboim | Co-founder named by Forbes; business databases list him as CEO. Co-founded venture firm DGNL Ventures | No |
| Coefficient Capital | New York consumer growth-equity firm | Minority, size not public |
| Wittington Ventures | Toronto venture arm of the Weston family’s holding company | Minority, size not public |
| Unilever Ventures | Listed by PitchBook and Tracxn as a backer | Not confirmed by Unilever |
Did Kourtney Kardashian make Lemme?
Yes. Kardashian Barker filed the Lemme trademark in 2021, covering vitamins, supplements and fortified drinks, more than a year before anything went on sale.
The brand launched on lemmelive.com on September 27, 2022, with three gummies: Matcha, Chill and Focus. Huck has said in interviews that Kardashian Barker messages the team’s group chat about new ingredients and pushes for formulator calls, so this isn’t a licensing deal where a celebrity rents out her name.
She isn’t the only builder, though. Huck, a longtime friend of the Kardashian family, brought the PR machine, launch planning and retail relationships. That split, celebrity audience plus an operator who’d done brand launches for years, is a big reason Lemme reached Target faster than most celebrity wellness lines.
Ownership, control and the brand aren’t the same thing
For a private company like Lemme, it helps to separate three questions.
Legal ownership: The business is Lemme Inc., a Delaware corporation, as named in 2025 court filings. Shareholders are the founders, the funds above, and almost certainly employees with options.
Control: Lemme hasn’t disclosed its board. Growth investors usually take minority stakes with a board seat or observer rights rather than control, and nothing public suggests the funds run the company.
The brand: The Lemme name started with Kardashian Barker’s 2021 trademark filing. The brand is built around her, which is why people assume she owns all of it.

The investors behind Lemme
Coefficient Capital is the best-documented backer. In a March 11, 2026 fundraising announcement, the New York firm listed Lemme among its remaining portfolio investments. Coefficient manages more than $800 million and focuses on consumer brands.
Wittington Ventures is the venture and growth arm of Wittington Investments, the holding company of Canada’s Weston family, the people behind Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart. Wittington names Lemme in its own portfolio.
Unilever Ventures shows up in PitchBook and Tracxn as a minority holder. We couldn’t confirm it from Unilever’s side, so treat it as likely but unverified.
PitchBook puts Lemme’s total funding at about $10 million. Lemme hasn’t announced a round, a lead investor or a valuation, so that figure is a database estimate, not a company disclosure.
Is Lemme owned by Unilever, Kris Jenner or Poosh?
No to all three, based on everything public.
- Unilever: Unilever Ventures, if it’s in, would be a minority venture investor. That’s very different from Unilever plc owning the brand, the way it owns Dove.
- Kris Jenner or the Kardashian family: No report or filing we found names Kris Jenner or Kourtney’s sisters as owners. Kim and Kourtney appeared together in a Lemme ad, but that’s marketing, not equity.
- Poosh: Poosh is Kardashian Barker’s separate lifestyle site, launched in 2019. Lemme is its own company.
One more mix-up, mostly for readers in India: Lemme Be is an unrelated Indian brand founded in 2020 that started in menstrual hygiene products. Its funding rounds show up in the same searches, but it has nothing to do with Kourtney’s company.
How big is the company they own?
Lemme doesn’t publish financials, but Forbes reported in May 2026 that the brand generated over $30 million in revenue in its first 16 months and is projected to pass $200 million in sales this year, citing people familiar with the business.
Run the numbers and the growth is steep. $30 million over 16 months works out to about $22.5 million a year. Going from that pace to $200 million is roughly a 9x jump in about three years.
The retail path explains a lot of it:
- September 2022: direct-to-consumer launch on its own site
- 2023: nationwide at Ulta Beauty
- Early 2024: nationwide at Target
- January 2026: Walmart stores across the US
TikTok Shop and thousands of creator affiliates added a channel most supplement brands still underuse. It’s a textbook move from DTC to mass retail.
Keep the numbers in their lanes, though. $200 million is projected sales. It isn’t profit, it isn’t a valuation, and it isn’t anyone’s personal wealth. Some net worth sites model a 20% to 30% stake for Kourtney and multiply it out. Those are assumptions, not disclosures. The same caution applies to other private functional supplement brands such as Neuro Gum, where any company value you read online is an estimate built from partial revenue data.
Indian readers will recognize the pattern from Mamaearth, where founder stakes only became public through IPO filings. Until Lemme raises publicly or gets acquired, its cap table stays private, much like other closely held consumer brands such as Dude Wipes.
Is there a lawsuit against Lemme?
Yes. In early 2025, California resident Christina Robins filed class action complaints against Lemme Inc. in California Superior Court and the Southern District of New York, both captioned Robins v. Lemme Inc.
The suits target Lemme GLP-1 Daily, a capsule launched in September 2024 with lemon, orange and saffron extracts. They argue that a modest boost to the body’s own GLP-1 hasn’t been shown to cause weight loss, unlike prescription drugs such as Ozempic. A company spokesperson called the case frivolous, according to Bloomberg Law.
For anyone asking whether Lemme is a scam: it’s a real, funded company selling through Target and Walmart. The fair criticism is narrower. Some of its claims, the GLP-1 one especially, lean further than the science.
Is Lemme FDA approved?
No, and no supplement is. The FDA doesn’t approve dietary supplements before they go on sale. Brands are responsible for safety and for backing up their claims, and the FDA can act after problems appear. Some Lemme products carry third-party marks like NSF certification, which checks contents rather than whether a product works.
What the ownership tells you
Lemme is Kourtney’s company in the sense that matters to shoppers: her name, her trademark, her involvement. On paper, it’s a venture-backed startup shared with two co-founders and outside funds.
The real test comes later. Growth investors like Coefficient eventually want an exit, and a sale to a big consumer group would be the first time anyone sees who owned how much.
