Maia Lafortezza Editorial Policy
How the Maia Lafortezza blog researches, writes, corrects and labels what we publish.
Last updated October 1, 2026
Independence
The blog is the editorial arm of Maia Lafortezza’s advisory practice. We publish what we believe is useful to people running businesses. Advertisers, sponsors and clients have no right to review, approve or change editorial content before or after publication.
Sourcing and accuracy
Factual claims are sourced to primary material wherever possible: company filings, official statistics, peer-reviewed research or on-the-record interviews. Figures are checked by a second editor before publication. When we rely on a single source, we say so.
Client confidentiality
Case studies are published only with written client permission. Where a client asks, names and identifying details are changed, and the article says so. We never publish information shared with us in confidence during an engagement.
Use of AI tools
Editors may use AI tools for transcription, research assistance and copy-editing. Every published piece is written, checked and approved by a named human author, who is accountable for its accuracy.
Sponsored content
Sponsored articles, reports and podcast segments are labelled clearly as sponsored, in the headline area and at the start of audio. Sponsored content is produced separately from independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change. To report an error, email [email protected].
