Ari Emanuel Net Worth: An Estimated $1 Billion-Plus, and What’s Behind It

Ari Gold was rich. The agent he was modelled on is richer. Ari Emanuel’s net worth is estimated at about $1 billion or more: the Bloomberg Billionaires Index valued him at “at least $1 billion” on February 14, 2025, the first time it counted him as a billionaire. Forbes doesn’t publish a current figure for him.
The interesting part is the composition. Only about 6% of that billion shows up as TKO stock in his own name. The rest sits in deal proceeds, rolled-over equity and private stakes that only partly surface in SEC filings.
Ari Emanuel net worth: the pieces you can actually see
Emanuel’s fortune is mostly equity, and some of it is public. Here’s a rough tally using SEC filings and deal disclosures. TKO shares are valued at $194.39, the price on his August 2026 Form 4.
| Asset | Basis (source, date) | Approx. value |
|---|---|---|
| TKO shares held directly | 221,894 Class A shares (Form 4, filed Sep 15, 2026) | $43.1 million |
| Unvested TKO stock units | 97,041 RSUs (same Form 4) | $18.9 million |
| Endeavor equity rolled into Silver Lake’s deal | $250.4M of interests plus $39.8M of profits units (SEC filing, Mar 22, 2025) | $290.3 million |
| Buyout portion not rolled over | Reported by Variety and TheWrap as his cash payout (Mar 24, 2025) | $173.8 million |
| Visible total | Before tax, at filing values | About $526 million |
That leaves roughly $474 million between the visible pieces and Bloomberg’s billion. A 2024 letter agreement filed by Endeavor points to where it sits. It promised him new equity worth 2.5% of the company plus another 0.5%, a 2.5% royalty on WME’s agency profits and the right to make the company buy back his stake from year two.
None of those private stakes has a public price. Add years of salary, earlier share sales and personal property, and a billion is plausible. It just can’t be audited from the outside.
Two caveats cut the other way. The rolled equity is valued at deal terms, not today’s market. And the $173.8 million was a pre-tax figure, so the cash he actually kept was lower.
How did Ari Emanuel get rich?
He went from agent to owner. Emanuel co-founded the Endeavor talent agency in April 1995, then merged it with the much older William Morris Agency in 2009 to form WME, where he became co-CEO, Variety reported.
The real money came when he stopped just representing talent and started buying the things talent works in. WME, backed by Silver Lake, bought IMG for $2.4 billion in 2014 and the UFC for $4 billion in 2016, according to Variety.
Endeavor listed on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2021 at $24 a share. Forbes calculated at the time that the shares Emanuel and his partner Patrick Whitesell controlled were worth about $864 million combined.
In September 2023, Endeavor merged the UFC with WWE to create TKO Group Holdings, with Endeavor owning 51%. TKO then took in IMG, On Location and PBR from Endeavor in February 2025, and in August 2025 signed a seven-year, roughly $7.7 billion UFC rights deal with Paramount, the company covered in our piece on who owns Paramount.
Bloomberg’s February 2025 billionaire call came on the back of that run. The Hollywood Reporter noted Endeavor shares were up 48% in a year and TKO had nearly doubled in 12 months.
The Silver Lake buyout
Silver Lake took Endeavor private for $27.50 a share, closing on March 24, 2025, at an enterprise value of about $25 billion including TKO. Emanuel didn’t cash out fully. He rolled $290.3 million of equity into the new private company and stepped up as executive chairman of WME Group.
That’s the single biggest reason his net worth is hard to pin down. A public stake gets marked to market daily; a private one gets marked when someone writes a cheque.
How much does Ari Emanuel make a year?
As TKO’s chief executive, Emanuel received $67.4 million in total compensation for 2025, according to TKO’s 2026 proxy statement as reported by TheWrap on April 23, 2026. That breaks down as a $3 million salary, an $11.9 million bonus, $44 million in stock, $8.12 million in incentive pay and $379,000 in other pay.
Pay swings with stock awards. His total was $18.1 million for 2024 and $64.9 million for 2023, per TheWrap’s reports on the prior proxies. Three years combined come to about $150.4 million before tax, though the stock part overlaps with shares already counted above.
Even his sales are mostly mechanical. His August 2026 Form 4 shows 24,702 TKO shares sold at $194.39 to cover tax on vesting stock, not a discretionary sell-off.
The fighters and wrestlers who generate that revenue are paid very differently; our look at Cody Rhodes’s net worth shows what top WWE talent earns. And remember the company number isn’t his: TKO reported $4.735 billion of revenue and $546.2 million of net income for 2025.
Is Ari Emanuel Mark Wahlberg’s agent?
He was. NPR reported in September 2026 that Wahlberg was Emanuel’s client when Entourage was made, and Emanuel was the model for the show’s agent, Ari Gold. Today Emanuel runs companies rather than a client list.
Why is Ari Gold’s wife so rich?
That one’s about the fictional character, not the real man. The real Emanuel’s money comes from equity, as above. For the record, he filed for divorce from Sarah Addington in 2018 after about 22 years of marriage; they have three sons. He married designer Sarah Staudinger in Saint-Tropez in May 2022, TheWrap reported. No reliable net worth figure exists for either.
Bottom line: call it “about $1 billion, give or take a few hundred million,” and know that the uncertain part is exactly the part he controls privately. If WME Group or his rolled stake is ever sold or valued in a new deal, that’s the moment the estimate gets real.
